You're All Stars

The Mass High Tech All-stars awards are a yearly Who’s Who of the local high tech world. Award winners are chosen from such sectors as advanced energy, biotech, medical devices, electronics, hardware, Internet, software and telecommunications.  A gala event is held where the winners give short speeches (140 characters.)  For every character over 140, the speaker donates $5 to a chosen charity.  This year the charity is the FIRST Robotics program.

Why We Support Product Launches

While Mass Innovation Nights is often chock full of startups launching new products, our mission is not exclusively startup focused.  IBM has launched six products with us, Intuit launched a product with us, Acquia, Brainshark, Continuum, LogMeIn, Percussion, VideoLink, and the Company formerly known as Novell launched two products with us.  These companies are far from startups.
This is confusing to some people.  ("Hey, that isn't a startup!")

Crowdfunding Innovators

Here's the moment you've all been waiting for -- our team of Crowdfunders for Crowdfunding Innovation.  We have an incredible assortment of projects to support (with your dollars, or your network, Mass Innovation Nights-style.)  Our SPECIAL live event will be at the Microsoft NERD Center on September 19, the week AFTER our regular monthly event, Mass Innovation Nights #42!  (Tickets and separate registration required -- go here!)

Mass Innovation Nights at Intrepid Labs

Have to start off this round-up/follow-up blog post with a big shout out to the Intrepid Labs team and the residents of this cool loft/co-working space.  Entrepreneurship isn't a 9-5 gig but at 5:00 pm everyone put away their work and helped transform the space into Mass Innovation Nights #42. Thank you, thank you, thank you, from all the participants.  Without great partners like you, Mass Innovation Nights couldn't exist.

Mass Innovation Nights - Number 43 Follow up Post

A light rain misted the Verizon Innovation Center but didn't dampen spirits for a stand-out event. One of our more spectular locations (you felt innovative just stepping over the threshold, and the ohs and ahs were audible), we had a terrific night courtesy the team at the Verizon Innovation Center, the SaaS University (returning to Boston October 24-26, use our coupon code MASSNIGHTSAVE50%), our dedicated experts and a group of terrific innovators.

MINFoodie5: Launching New Food and Food Related Products

The highly anticipated Mass Innovation Nights Foodie came to town and boy are we stuffed!  I think we need to find one of the Boston area's new restaurants to launch with us every month!  (Thanks Strega Prime and welcome to the Woburn Tradecenter neighborhood.)  Say nothing of all the amazing new food and food related products.  We even had some old friends and new ones offering additional samples.

Mass Innovation Nights #54 - Workbar Cambridge

Awesome night at Workbar Cambridge!  (You know VentureFizz called us "always great", right?) Lots of folks visiting the Central Square co-working space for the first time. We had some terrific products launching with us and the guests agreed!  Very enthusiastic all around.
