Hats off to 500 Great New Products: MIN500
Our 50th Mass Innovation Nights event celebrated the first 500 product launches in grand style in partnership with the Boston Globe, Boston.com and The Hive as our hosts. We were able to bring back 15 of our favorite products and see how far they have come in the time since they participated in their first Mass Innovation Nights. It was terrific to hear about the progress that has been made and how our Innovation Nights community has made a difference.
500 Products: Boston Globe
We're coming up on our 50th event tomorrow night and Boston Globe is hosting the event. But TODAY's Globe included a nice overview of the last 49 events and the 500 products launched. Reporter Michael Farrell talked to many MINfriends in his quest and produced this story!
Mass Innovation Nights #49: Back to the Mill
Our 49th event, held at the new offices of Fresh Tilled Soil in Watertown felt like a bit of a return home -- back to a mill where Mass Innovation Nights got its start. It wasn't the same mill but this one too had the big windows, beautiful high ceilings and exposed brick walls that make such a wonderful backdrop for a new product launch!
Mass Innovation Nights 48: At the Lansdowne Pub
Four years ago we launched a website and offered to throw a product launch party for local companies with new products. We figured we'd get some of our social media friends to help spread the word, Tweet, Like and maybe post some video and pictures. Four years later, we found ourselves at the Lansdowne Pub in Boston, doing the same thing, but with a crop of exciting new products. Big thanks to the team at the Lansdowne Pub for making it all possible! What great hosts! Did you like their apps? (No, not mobile apps but appetizers!)
Who's a Food NERD?
We're borrowing our blog title from Boston Teawright's Caleb who asked this qu

Crowdfunding Innovation 2
Our second Crowdfunding Innovation event was held January 23, 2013 at the Microsoft NERD Center in Cambridge and once again, we supported crowdfunding projects (go fund them or just tell your friends!) from an incredibly wide variety of organizations:
January 2013 Mass Innovation Nights at the IBM Innovation Center
Our first Mass Innovation Nights event of 2013 was pretty darned awesome and also the third anniversary of the first nomadic Mass Innovation Nights. The first year of our monthly product launch parties had all been at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation and in January of 2010, we "roamed" out to the IBM Innovation Center. It started something. We now roam pretty much all the time. (Our schedule for 2013 makes us look like a ping pong ball! Fun stuff.)
Mass Innovation Nights at The Hive
What a fabulous night for the Boston Innovation Economy! Mass Innovation Nights #45 was a terrific partnership with Boston.com's The Hive and was held at The Boston Globe's offices...with a rockin' after-party in the Media Lab hosted by Radio BDC! The Boston.com team really rolled out the red carpet and feted us in grand style -- there were even table cloths. Really.
Mass Innovation Nights 44 at VMware
Thanks to VMware for hosting Mass Innovation Nights 44 (#MIN44) at their fun space in Kendall Square, and putting out such a nice spread, and validating parking, etc.! (You know they are hiring, right?)
Mass Innovation Nights - Number 43 Follow up Post
A light rain misted the Verizon Innovation Center but didn't dampen spirits for a stand-out event. One of our more spectular locations (you felt innovative just stepping over the threshold, and the ohs and ahs were audible), we had a terrific night courtesy the team at the Verizon Innovation Center, the SaaS University (returning to Boston October 24-26, use our coupon code MASSNIGHTSAVE50%), our dedicated experts and a group of terrific innovators.
